Review of I Love You to Death (1990) by Christina F — 15 Jun 2007

As far as comedies go, this one can't be beat. Kevin Kline is top of his game as a cheating husband, with Tracey Ullman as the angry wife trying to do him in. Joan Plowright (probably the funniest one in the film) plays Ullman's mother, all too eager to assist.

With the help of their friend (played by River Phoenix), they higher to drugged up cousins, Harlon and Marlon (William Hurt and Keanu Reeves in his one good performance ever) to help kill Kline. All of this makes for one of the most madcap movies of all time.
