I Love You to Death is a black comedy based off a true story about a woman who repeatedly attempts (and fails) to kill her unfaithful husband. Kevin Kline plays the womanizing Joey convincingly. William Hurt and Keanu Reeves co-star briilliantly as the drug addicted cousins, Harlan and Marlon, whom are hired to help murder him.
The late River Phoenix plays Devo, a charasmatic delivery boy whom is devoted to Joey's wife, Rosalie (Tracey Ullman), and is determined to help the woman he loves by assisting in her husband's murder.
Great story, great acting. One of my favorites.
