I Love You Phillip Morris comes off as sort of making fun of gay people, but in the heart of it all, it's just a love story. Jim Carey gives his third best performance today in this darkly comic movie.
The movie demonstrates silly comedy, but it also gets into very strong drama throughout the entire movie. All the performances are pretty grand, especially Ewen McGregor's convincing role as Phillip Morris.
This movie's not for everyone, and at times, it is a bit uneven, but I still recommend to Jim Carey fans. 8.8/10.
