Review of I Love You Phillip Morris (2010) by Borhan K — 05 Sep 2014
I love you Phillip Morris is about a con man that goes through his life cheating and conning people to make money and become the man he wants to be. In the adventure he falls in love with a man called Phillip Morris and takes him on the journey too.
To be frank at first the movie was a tad little out of left field but the love story felt genuine.
The attempts Steven had to try and connect back to phillip was crazy.
The funny thing near the end of the movie it had the classical piece of music that was played in The Shawshank Redemption.
The movie if you get passed the first 30 minutes and give it a chance is not half bad.
Not suitable for the kiddies at all.
Its more a love story a romantic comedy more than a jail break movie.
I am not a big fan of Jim Carrey but this movie is different and I got into it and wanted to see where it went. It has elements of Liar Liar in it.
In the end you find out its based on a true story and becomes one of the USA biggest breaches in the system.
Prison Break and Shawshank Redemption this has the same high level of expertise.
Worth a look and you have to be open minded.
