Review of I Love You Phillip Morris (2010) by Mitch H — 23 May 2013

Absolutely hands down one of Jim Carrey's finest performances. This true story of Steven Russell, an ultra slick con man, took one unbelievable turn after another. Just when the film had me convinced, the story twisted -- pulling the rug from directly under my feet.

I never knew where this narrative was leading me or where it would eventually finish. When the credits rolled, I couldn't believe the journey I was just on and this story that unfolded before me. Truly fascinating, but slow and awkward at times leaves it at -- 7.
