Review of I Love You, Beth Cooper (2009) by Michael V — 22 Oct 2010
This film is your fairly standard high-school nerd goes after the hot girl flick. There are many unflattering components including unlikable leading and supporting characters, a cartoonish antagonist, and an inconsistent story.
Panettiere is the source of most of my dislike â" either that or she was incredibly convincing portraying Beth Cooper as annoying. You would hope that Coovermanâ(TM)s smarts would kick in, overtake his adolescent hormones, and bring him to his senses.
But instead, he endures an entire excruciating night surviving Bethâ(TM)s vengeful boyfriend, her driving and her insensitivities.
