Outlandishly beautiful (one of the most atmospheric films--in good part to the amazing Erwin Hillier who brought his experience with Fritz Lang to fruition here) with a wonderful story to boot. I really loved everything about this one.
And, with any Criterion production, the extras are amazing and revealing.
