Review of I Kill Giants (2017) by Kent D — 12 Aug 2018

I knew I shouldn't watch this on the train. Oh man, the tears. Someone looked like they actually wanted to comfort me at the end.

What I didn't know is how loyal to the source it would be; thank goodness Joe Kelly was allowed to adapt his own story; a more faithful adaption there couldn't be.

So hard to talk about without giving away what makes the film and its source so memorable, but I just hope this is seen by as many young adults as possible; so much more substance than most films made for or about their age group.
