An absolutely stunning film from one of my favourite directors, Ken Loach. This is heartbreaking, depressing and dismal. But it also shows the spirit of kindness and how, even against all odds, that it can still shine through.
It also shows a side to the UK that you don't normally see and how ordinary people, good people, have to struggle to make ends meet.
