Review of I Confess (1953) by Simon H — 25 Sep 2004
Great, if overlooked, Hitchcock thriller. The black and white cinematography is superb, and the use of Quebec City gives the movie a special look and feel. I had no idea Hitchcock directed a movie in my own province, and it was very cool seeing streets and landmarks I already went to.
Also, one of the most serious Hitchcock movie, and an interesting twist on the "wrong man" concept seen in so many of his movies.
