Review of I Am Sam (2001) by Octharina N — 28 Dec 2011
Very touching film about the love a mentally challenged father has for his daughter. Sean Penn is great in this movie and is very convincing in his role (for which he received a well deserved oscar nomination), Dakota Fanning was cute as always and Michelle Pfeiffer was also good as the busy lawyer who had no time for family.
I enjoyed the film and the underlying values that are learned about life, work, and family. Very touching movie!
