Good story, sumptuous visuals and some strong performances, particularly from Tilda Swinton. Occasionally, the film tries to ramp up its sensualness through overblown music and imagery - sometimes this works, other times it's a bit distracting, but overall it didn't spoil my enjoyment of the film.
