Review of I Am Love (2010) by Duncan S — 19 Jul 2010
A love story set in Milan, as a society woman falls for her sons chef friend. The film looks amazing, and the acting, especially by Swinton, is exemplorary, but this is a film that feels as if it has been locked in a freezer to get it to feel so cold.
You cant care about any of the characters, and the longer it goes on, the more it slips into melodrama. A film that is very easy to admire, but very hard to love.
