Review of I Am Love (2010) by Havi E — 07 Aug 2010
Prego! Prego! It was mesmerizing to watch the fall of modern Italy through the emotional eyes of one loveless bourgeoisie family household in Milan. Basically, it was a very tragic Italian soapy opera chamber piece done in sweeping long and leisurely paced tracking shots.
I also liked the use of silences and background noises for accents. If you like fashion, this movie was an eye candy for you contemporary couture fashion design freaks as well - the high end jeweleries, tightly fitted dresses, and masculine men's suits.
