Review of I Am Love (2010) by Vinnie G — 15 Dec 2012
Family dynamics and interplay are beautifully rendered in this movie, but it's over the top with its use of musical score and drama, especially its ridiculous operatically styled finale. Some of the visual metaphors are delicately nuanced and artistic while others are dragged on too long and lack finesse.
There's no denying though that Swinton's performance was stellar, and her Italian and Russian pretty impressive.
