Yet another film I was disappointed by. I think I fell into believing the hype. I was expecting more romance, more sumptuousness, more emotion ... and came up unfulfilled on all three. tilda was good but when is tilda not good? she's given better performances than this.
the color palette was interesting. I was probably most impressed by john adams' score, the hotness of edoardo gabbriellini, and the cinematography.
