Review of I Am Love (2010) by Devin D — 18 Mar 2011
I Am Love is a beautiful film; it is filled with well thought out and captivating compositions and a cast of very talented actors. It has a wit and style to it that is nostalgically reminiscent to films of the French nouveau area.
Luca Guadagino captivates his viewers with his humanistic raw look into high society and brings it the social hierarchy to the bottom of the totem pole. Tilda Swinton amazes once again with a powerful performance of breaking free of chains and safety nets and becoming empowered and selfishly in love.
I very much enjoyed this film it is quite amazing.
