Review of I Am Legend (2007) by Jasonc. — 27 Dec 2007

Will Smith was disappointing, I was leaving the theater wanting more from what seemed to have Epic possibilities. Although there were parts that did not make sense, like how did his water work? and how did his electricity work? I thought the film could have been saved if they would have gotten someone with greater acting chops to consume most of the individual dialog, Smith as Neville was not convincing for the majority of the film with no other actors , only certain actors can pull this off and be succussful, via Tom Hanks (Cast Away),Kevin Costner(Dances with Wolves) off the top of my head come to mind, but with this film I was concerned about Smith, and I thought he was dissapointing.
