This is an excellent film, in my opinion, giving the viewer a glimpse into the mind of a child during WWII. (I love movies about children in this era, because not only does it present an odd optimism in trial, they also have to live with the weight of war for the rest of there lives.
(its a miracle)... the only thing that seemed *slightly* wacky to me was the music used in the final scene (it seemed out of place).
