Very good movie I had never even heard of. Great cast, especially the young, inexperienced kid who had to carry this movie on his shoulders (he's practically in ever single shot of the film.) The locations, the directing, the supporting cast.
..it all works. A small, intimate movie that feels much broader in scope than it actually is. I have the feeling I would have loved the book this was based on if I had read it as a kid.
