Review of Hysteria (2011) by Josef H — 31 Dec 2011
This is a very good romantic comedy that explores quite subtly the condition of women in the 19th century and the invention of the portable massager ;) It's never vulgar, they make fun of things in such a way that is never crass and makes you laugh out loud. You can feel Mortimer's pain as his hands gets more and more hurt doing what he has to do to cure hysteria.
Rupert Everett is hilarious and Maggie Gyllenhall is so refreshing, I liker her more and more as I see her in more movies.
