Review of Hustle & Flow (2005) by Deidre Z — 22 Sep 2009
It's pretty damn good. Impressive performances all round, especially from Terrence Howard and Ludacris. Even DJ Qualls, who seems out a place in a movie like this, fairs pretty well. It's a very cool insight into how a beat is laid down and a gritty look at the struggles and what having a dream will do for not just you, but people around you.
