Review of Hush (2016) by Dylan C — 30 Apr 2016
Just when you thought there weren't any horror movie premises left to explore, some indie filmmakers decide to give a fairly novel target for their serial killer: a reclusive author who happens to be a deaf-mute.
While admittedly a bit gimmicky, Hush makes the best use of its concept with descriptive camera work and genuine chills. It isn't without it's stretches of inactivity, but Hush is a welcome shoe-string alternative to studio-produced splatter fests.
