Review of Hush (2016) by Andrew F — 10 Jun 2017
The Netflix original movie 'Hush' shows the world once again you do not need to have a large budget to make a superior film, the actress Kate Siegel shines through her acting talent by playing a deaf woman whom is being stalked in her secluded home.
This film does not waste any time diving into action, and unlike most films with a shorter running time of 1 hour 20 minutes it does not take much time building up to drama, which is also helped with a simple but effective story-line.
Throughout the whole film it never falls flat, with something constantly round the corner. With only two main characters and a couple supporting actors this is a highly enjoyable film for everyone. The script is strong with the story-line stronger; finally a horror film which does not rely on one scene wonders and a CGI fiasco.
