Review of Husbands and Wives (1992) by Mark C — 19 Aug 2007
I like almost all Woody Allen films. Like many of his post Annie Hall films, this is a tale of overlapping and confused relationships on the edge. Allen adds a nice touch by having the 'interviews' seen from a locked down, dry camera while the narrative is a third party hand held perspective, hinting at the obliviousness we have to our own situations and what a third-person view could tell us.
