Hunt for the Wilderpeople is a charming, quirky, fun movie that is also very touching. The story starts with a 13 year old foster child being dropped off to be with an older couple who live off the land.

Things happen, and he and his reluctant foster father end up on the run from social services. Set in the New Zealand bush, it is beautifully filmed and definitely worth a trip to see it on the big screen.

The movie has a very good soundtrack, well developed characters, and excellent acting. I laughed a lot, I cried a little - I gave it a nine.
