With a lead cast at the top of their game, and an ensemble cast full of finely etched characters, 'Hunt for the Wilderpeople' is a riot! Taika Waititi is in fine form yet again following up his 2014 mockumentary 'What We do in the Shadows' with another deliciously offbeat offering.
While his trademark sharp wit elevates even the mundane situations to hilarious effect, he sprinkles a perfect amount of poignant ones to tug at your heartstrings. A winner all the way!
