Absolutely excellent movie! Great acting;the growth of the friendship between Ricky (Julian Dennison) and Uncle Hec (Sam Neill) was perfectly demonstrated in this comedic adventure film.
Very smartly written, beautiful scenery and many laughs, this movie is worth your money! As well as including legendary 'Jurassic Park' actor Sam Neill, the script was almost flawless.
I would have given this movie 5 stars, but a mentionable thing to point out is the 'hunt for the wilderpeople' is not really strong in the plot, and is possibly unnecessary. Still, this movie was a great success in my mind and I can't wait to see it again. A definite hit!
