Review of Human Remains (1998) by Janna L — 25 Apr 2011
Jay Rosenblatt creates an exceptionally eerie "documentary" of some of the most reviled and controversial leaders in history not by detailing their crimes against humanity, but by disclosing to you their loves and passions, their afflictions and their habits.
It's an interesting way of humanizing these figures of "evil" and of creating an altogether unsettling result that I just love the shit out of.
