Review of Hulk Vs. (2009) by Ryan D — 09 Feb 2009
I give it 5 stars for the Wolverine portion alone. The old 1980s comic where Hulk and Wolverine meet for the second time was one of the first comics I purchased, and so I have a lot of nostalgia when it comes to them beating the crap out of each other. Steve Blum is a decent Wolverine, and we've grown accustomed to him since he's voiced the character about 50 different times now. Deadpool was also pure genius.
The Thor portion was "meh" at best. As with anything involving thor, it's got lots of Loki action. I never found the god of thunder particularly appealing, especially when he is in Asgard. I really have no connection to the setting or the character, so yeah, meh.
