Review of Hulk (2003) by Christopher R — 23 Feb 2012
The only reason you'll read a bad review on this movie is that Mr.Lee did such a great job with each scene that features the green guy, you just want more.
As I'm writing this, the date is Feb 23 2012.
This movie came out in 2003.
I'm sorry I'm a little late.
Ang Lee's "Hulk" is far superior to the Edward Norton version. If your a hulk fan then this is the one you need to see.
I've heard/read/laughed at reviews that criticize this movie because "there's not enough smashing". And sadly, the movie is not "Hulk Smash!" from beginning to end. Mr.Lee took this movie to a higher plain. It builds. It gives you the feeling it's holding back, and just when you need it to pop, that's exactly when Hulk delivers. In my opinion, the hulk was never shown in a better way then what Mr.Lee did with him.
This is the age of the internet, so go find a clip of Hulk in this movie, watch it, and afterward I guarantee you'll add it to your "watch list".
I'd rent the Edward Norton version just fast-forward it to see Robert Downey Jr. as the great Tony Stark in a cameo after the credits...or just find the clip on the internet and save your time.
