Review of Hulk (2003) by Bryanbezter — 26 May 2020
The location, action scenes, destruction, casting, acting, and production design are great. The music and editing are very unique, some are perfect but some are not. The military force is successfully depicted. The conflict is well-developed. They successfully put the burden and hard choices that each character must take, especially Bruce, Ross, and Betty. Great performances by Eric Bana as Bruce Banner, Jennifer Connelly as Betty Ross, Sam Elliott as Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross, Nick Nolte as David Banner, and Josh Lucas as Glenn Talbot.
The visual effects are bad. It is a Hulk movie, there should have been more destruction and smashing.
Debatable holes:
1) Were there no CCTV cameras at Banner's office? How could David break in?
2) After Berkeley Biotechnology Institute was closed, how could David get into it?
3) How could David get access to the computers and machines?
4) Hulk's pants is elastic and durable.
