A sure to be future family classic, Hugo is a revelation for Martin Scorsese and shows his mastery in a film that doesn't have his regular trademarks. It's a different filmmaker at work here but one that is like all his previous works - a celebration of the magic of film-making and going to the movies.
A Family film unlike any ever made and only for those who LOVE film.
