Review of Hudson Hawk (1991) by Gabi B — 13 Sep 2011
This is such a bizarre, weird, but fun film. Bruce Willis stars as the title character, Hudson Hawk, a master theif who has just been realized from Prison. He wants to go straight but is forced into a huge international caper ran by two billionaire siblings after Leonardo Da Vinci's greatest unknown invention; an apparatus which can turn lead into Gold.
This is a really uneven movie that even features some random musical numbers that are pretty much embarrassing for everyone involved. Bruce Willis is charming as usual and he does a good job in a movie that really bounces around in tone.
For all the crap this film gets its really highly enjoyable and entertaining, even if its kinda all over the place.
