Review of Howl (2010) by Leslye R — 19 Nov 2010
Meandering and beautiful, this movie is more meditation on writing than a narrative. The visualizations of Ginsberg's poetry are worth the trip to the theater in and of themselves. Franco's performance is is somewhat distracting as the script never gives him the chance to embody Ginsberg, just mimic him.
