Review of Howl (2010) by Stephen D — 01 Sep 2011
James Franco does a credible job as Ginsburg. The poem takes center stage and it is an awesome poem. Ginsburg was obviously going for shock value in some parts, but many of the feelings are universal. Why do they always cast Cassady as a pretty boy? Look at the pictures, he was not an attractive man.
He just had a way with women (except his wives of course).
