Review of How to Murder Your Wife (1965) by Fernando D — 15 Aug 2008
Jack Lemmon keeps this movie afloat during moments which otherwise would be painfully dull. The beautiful Virna Lisi is almost replaceable with a cardboard cut-out, but the real humor here is supposed to be watching manipulative wives and their disenfranchised husbands.
A product of its time, you wonder how differently this movie would look if it had been made in the post-feminism world a mere 10 years later.
