An overall fun movie (an ideal companion piece to Marilyn Monroe's 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes') that has a consistent charm. And despite the fine performances of Lauren Bacall and Betty Grable, the film feels a little stilted when the divine Ms.
Monroe isn't on screen.
