There are just some movies that touch your heart and this is one of them. Totally a chick flick! The quilt the older women make signify certain times in their lives. They bring all of their patches together to create one big quilt as a wedding gift for Wynona Rider.
Ironically none of the older women have "happy" love lives. However the bond these women share is much stronger and the quilt brings them all together. Beautifully done!
