Review of How to Lose Friends & Alienate People (2008) by Ole J — 15 Nov 2009
I love Simon Pegg, I wasn't sure how he would do in this "American" movie, but it works out very well.
Is this actually a portrait of his real life?? :D.
Well, its a comedy, and did it make me laugh, yes it did...
Its not a comedy in the laugh-your-lungs-out kind of way, but it´s more in the british-blak/dry-humor department and that's just fantastic for my sake.
Yopu have to like the not so subtle approach and the one-liners to enjoy it, and if you don't take it for anything else then a somewhat romantic comedy it's good.
It could definetly have had some more "play", some more basis, but it's allright and have what is needed.
