Based on my favourite book ever by my favourite author ever Terry mcMillan. I loved this film and could watch it daily. Angela Bassetts performance was realistic and honest, Taye Diggs was gorgeous and the whole movie makes you want to escape to an Island and forget your inhibitions.
Love scenes were hot but not tacky. The movie doesn't do the book justice but not many movies can compare to the book. Still, I loved this movie and appreciate it for its honesty.
