Review of How Stella Got Her Groove Back (1998) by Tamara W — 20 Feb 2010

I have a big crush on taye diggs but some of those shower scenes were .. a little over the top. Overall I thought it was a good movie that portrayed its characters as real through revealing their joys, insecurities, and relationships.

Also, "The Rebound" shares a similar plot and human portrayal to the characters.

I rated it low because it's still stuck in that 'chick flick' genre for me.
