Review of How I Live Now (2013) by Tony P — 09 Oct 2013
Saoirse Ronan is in almost every scene. This is her movie. Some moments stun you with simplicity and truth but others leave you incredulous and digging deep into your belief of young love to hold the story arc together.
There is a great idea for a story here, where war turns the path of your life onto a different path even when it does not directly cross into your life. The impacts are all indirect but significant. This movie wish slight in its depiction of this.
A better more gut wrenching and visceral movies is surly worth making? mo.vie.
