Review of How Green Was My Valley (1941) by Tim I — 04 Oct 2007
Poignant tale of the harsh realities of coal mining in the late 19th century. Much deeper than it is commonly given credit for, this movie has a strong social message. The acting and directing (John Ford) and writing all work together to produce a first-rate film.
