Review of House on Haunted Hill (1999) by Tenna B — 07 Nov 2009
Completely mediocre horror film has a good premise, some spooky scenes, and a neat location, but no story to speak of. The main couple is so poorly defined that the back and forth nature of their relationship is tedious more than compelling.
And the movie shows its hand way to early, so there really is no question as to who or what is causing the mayhem (despite the characters blaming one another). Is watchable mostly thanks to a better than average cast.
