Review of House on Haunted Hill (1999) by David G — 29 Nov 2017
This is by no means a great film, but its a lot of fun, the cast is having a ball and there are some truly creepy moments in it. The sets are fantastic, the art department did a really good job at making the house feel organic, you can almost smell it.
One of the highlights is the huge zoetrope that Geoffrey Rush finds himself stuck in, the scenes in there are especially creepy.
If you are looking for a fun horror film that is not overly challenging, give this a go.
