Review of House on Haunted Hill (1959) by Alex G — 04 Jul 2008
Vincent Price is unstoppable in this role--he's so good at being an eccentric creepazoid! This version is much better than the remake, in part because of Vincent Price, and in part because ambiguity can really pay off--there's a lot more to think about in this version.
The b&w version is best, I reckon.
