Review of House on Haunted Hill (1959) by Tim A — 22 Nov 2010
Another winning collaboration from William Castle and Vincent Price. A ghost story-slash-murder mystery, but not without the usual campy gimmicks. Coward's Corner, witchy caretakers, floating skeletons, paramedics on standby.
.. all re-created live in the theatre. No-one does a film like that anymore. You just don't get the experience with home video. Kudos to Abertoir.
