I wish I'd seen this when it came out, because it is so well made and would have inspired things in the films I make. But now it will, so there we are. What a strong and complicated portrait of the nuances and pathways of people's lives.
.. I must own this soon on DVD to re-watch and study it. And it should be required in every film school's curriculum.
