Review of House of Sand and Fog (2003) by Damon H — 11 Nov 2012
This is the movie William Shakespeare would have directed had he still been alive today. An incredible story of loss, hopes, dreams and tragedy. Jennifer Connelly plays a recovering alcoholic who has lost her home in a government mix-up, and Ben Kingsley (the academy award winner from Gandi) is at the height of his powers as a middle eastern man who buys the house from the government.
What follows is a feud over the house that takes place in beautiful San Francisco, and the Marine Headlands. A beautifully shot film that is a must see for everyone.
